Ray Givens grew up in a family of 5 in Lufkin, Texas. Shortly after graduating the University of Louisiana Lafayette with a BBA in Business Administration, he began his career at State Farm as a team member for a local agent. He worked his way up to an Agent Coach, helping agents around the DFW with improving their marketing, training, and development. From this experience, he realized his ambition of owning his own agency— one that values our relationships with customers and focuses on education. He later continued his education to earn his master’s degree from American Public University in Sports Administration. In addition, he also received the CHFC and Chartered Life Underwriter from The American College.

The Ray Givens office officially opened in July 2020 in Pantego, Texas. Ray is your go-to guy for all things insurance and financial services, and you can count on his friendly, knowledgeable team to answer any questions and offer support—in English and Spanish!

Ray has emersed himself within his local Pantego community, as he attends many provincial events and takes on various volunteer opportunities. He even established his own backpack drive for kids during the summertime— Back to School Bash —where him and his team hand out over 200 bags with school supplies to help families prepare for the coming school year. Ray enjoys spending his free time officiating local youth football teams, as he is passionate for the sport!
